Wingman —your fleet's wingman

A GPS tracker tells you where the car is. Wingman tells you how it is being driven, how much it really consumes and what is about to break —before it breaks. Wheel Clamping — Illegal parking

Mobile module for managing the clamping and unclamping of wheels of illegally parked vehicles, with fiscal receipt and report.

  • Overview — The app runs on an Android tablet with internet connectivity and GPS. The enforcement officer uses the eRGiss app to document and manage the entire clamping-unclamping flow.
  • Required equipment — Android tablet with the eRGiss app installed, optionally a Datecs Bluetooth cash register for issuing fiscal receipts.

Clamping procedure

  • 1. Vehicle identification — Enter the vehicle's registration number. The address is filled in automatically from GPS (reverse geocoding), but can be edited manually.
  • 2. Photo documentation — Press the PHOTO + CLAMP button to photograph the vehicle and save the clamping at the same time. The camera opens automatically and the photo is attached to the record. Any number of additional photos can be added later.
  • 3. GPS check — The system automatically checks the GPS signal. The clamping cannot be saved without valid GPS coordinates. If the GPS has no fix, a message appears and the page reloads automatically.
  • 4. Save — The clamping is recorded with: registration number, reason, address, GPS coordinates, timestamp, enforcement officer.

Unclamping procedure

  • 1. Select clamping — From the list of active clampings (Clamped tab), identify the vehicle and press UNCLAMP.
  • 2. Payment — Choose the payment method: CASH or CARD. The amount is fixed, configured centrally by the administrator.
  • 3. Fiscal receipt (optional) — After unclamping, the FISCAL RECEIPT button becomes available. When pressed, the fiscal receipt is generated automatically and sent to the Bluetooth cash register.

PDF Report

  • The PDF button generates a complete report with: the clamping data, photos, a map with the GPS location, the officer's electronic signature, and space for the driver's signature.
  • The PDF includes the company header and is available both from the mobile app and from the desktop interface.

Desktop monitoring

  • From the ERP menu: Wheel Clamping → Today's clampings list — a table with all clampings in the selected period, with color-coded status, photos, amount, payment method.
  • Clicking the photo thumbnail opens the full gallery. The 📄 button generates the PDF report.

Administrator configuration

  • User association — From Admin → Users → Edit: select "Wheel clamping" from the "Mobile app script" dropdown.
  • Tablet enrollment — Generate the QR code from the user edit page (the 📱 button) or from the user's toolbar. Scan it with the eRGiss app.
  • Clamping amount — Configurable centrally from the firme table (the suma_blocare field).
  • Photo resolution — Configurable from the firme table (the rez_imagini field, default 1280px).
